Bassirou Diomaye Faye’s football bonuses spark controversy in Senegal

Just under two months ago, the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) displayed a united front following the Confederation of African Football (CAF)’s appeal jury decision. This ruling controversially stripped the Lions de la Teranga of their African champion title, subsequently awarding it to Morocco. The FSF swiftly rallied behind its president, Abdoulaye Fall, to formally lodge an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
