During a pivotal session of the AU PSC focused on the vital topic of “protecting child soldiers in Africa,” the Moroccan delegation robustly asserted that children continue to bear the severe brunt of persistent conflicts across the continent. These vulnerable youngsters face profound exposure to forced enlistment, pervasive violence, and significant disruptions to their schooling, circumstances that gravely jeopardize their long-term prospects and overall future.
