On Friday, July 17, 2026, Chadian President, Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, dispatched a distinguished delegation to Yaoundé, carrying a personal communication for his Cameroonian counterpart, Paul Biya.
The esteemed group was headed by Dr. Abdoulaye Sabre Fadoul, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, African Integration, and Chadians Abroad. Accompanying him were Mahamat Saleh Abdeldjelil, Special Advisor to the Head of State; Fatima Haram Acyl, Minister of Petroleum, Mines, and Geology; and Hassan Adoum Younousmi, Director General of the Telecommunications Sector Regulatory Agency (ARSAT).

As President Biya was abroad at the time, the Chadian delegation was formally received at the Étoudi Palace by Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh, the Minister of State and Secretary General of the Presidency of Cameroon.
