The governments of Morocco and France convened in Rabat on Thursday for the 15th session of the Morocco-France High-Level Meeting.

This strategic gathering reflects the deepening of an exceptional partnership between the two nations, guided by His Majesty King Mohammed VI and French President Emmanuel Macron. The session underscores the commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation, as outlined in an official statement from the Moroccan Prime Minister’s Office.

Hosted during the official visit of French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu on July 15 and 16, this meeting represents a pivotal moment in revitalizing the relationship between the two countries.

Lecornu, making his first official trip to Morocco since assuming office in 2025, arrived with a high-profile delegation comprising over a dozen ministers. Key figures in the delegation include Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Laurent Nunez, Minister of the Interior.
