The minister’s statements, however, extended beyond mere figures.

Diouf asserted that Sonko, after exhausting his initial political fund allocation, sought an additional top-up. Yet critical questions remain unanswered: Was the request granted? And more importantly, where did this sensitive information originate? Theoretically, only the President of the Republic and the Minister of Budget would have had access to such data.
