Ryanair boosts Morocco connectivity with 17 fresh winter routes, Rabat lands seven
As winter approaches, Ryanair is rolling out its most ambitious Morocco route expansion yet, unveiling 17 brand-new connections. Seven of these will originate from Rabat, unlocking a total of 5.3 million additional seats to European travelers.
The upcoming winter season will see Ryanair operate 156 routes linking the Kingdom to 14 European nations. Rabat emerges as the clear frontrunner in this expansion, followed by Marrakech and Agadir, each gaining five new direct flights.
The complete list of European destinations and flight frequencies remains under wraps for now. Still, the announcement clearly signals the airline’s intensified focus on Morocco’s three primary tourist hubs.
The Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT) describes this initiative as a historic milestone for Ryanair in the country. It aligns perfectly with broader efforts to elevate Morocco’s air travel accessibility across Europe.
Thirteen airports set to benefit from enhanced connectivity
Ryanair’s winter schedule will touch down in thirteen Moroccan airports. The expansion will notably improve access to Fès, Tétouan, Essaouira, Ouarzazate, Dakhla, and Nador, complementing the new routes announced for Rabat, Marrakech, and Agadir.
By diversifying flight options, the initiative aims to distribute tourist traffic more evenly across regions while spotlighting lesser-known Moroccan destinations on European travel maps.
With 5.3 million seats and 156 routes on offer, Ryanair is poised to deliver its largest winter program ever in Morocco. The full roster of 17 new destinations will be revealed in due course.
