Chad-car joint force commander supports wounded troops in korbol

Visite du commandant de la force mixte Tchad-RCA aux soldats blessés de Korbol

Brigadier General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor, who commands the joint Chad-Central African Republic (CAR) force, recently extended his support to troops stationed in the Korbol department. On Sunday, May 10, 2026, General Hor traveled to Sarh Outel Bono Provincial Hospital. His mission was to offer solidarity and assess the condition of military personnel wounded during recent confrontations in the Korbol department, which took place the preceding Thursday.

The visit aimed to gather firsthand information on the health status of two soldiers who sustained injuries in an armed incident in the area earlier that week. The casualties included Sergeant Allahguernganye Diro Martial, 36, who suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, and Corporal-Chief Djimet Issakah Dane, who sustained a fractured left leg from gunfire. Their injuries were significant, requiring more advanced medical intervention than what was available at the Sarh provincial facility.

Following discussions with the attending medical team and hospital staff, General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor issued a directive for their immediate transfer to N’Djamena, ensuring they would receive optimal specialized care. Dr. Sayambaye Alladoumdjim, the Deputy Director of Sarh Provincial Hospital, commended the swift response of the defense and security forces in arranging the evacuation of their comrades to N’Djamena for essential treatment. Hospital sources confirmed that the urgent medical evacuation of both soldiers was successfully carried out later that same day. Military authorities expressed optimism that this rapid action would significantly enhance the soldiers’ prospects for a full recovery.
