How Canal+, M6 and L’Équipe will cover the PSG-Arsenal Champions League final

Three major French broadcasters are preparing extensive coverage for Saturday’s Champions League showdown between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal, kicking off at 18:00.
Canal+ will be leading the charge for the final, leveraging its exclusive rights to the competition. Starting at 09:00, Canal+ Foot will air a full day of build-up programming, including live updates from Budapest. At 13:00, the Canal Bus will hit the streets of the Hungarian capital, with presenter Jules Deremble immersing viewers in the pre-match atmosphere. The Canal Champions Club team—featuring Hervé Mathoux, Laure Boulleau, David Ginola, Robert Pirès, Christophe Jallet, Bertrand Latour, and Gauthier Kuntzmann—will be stationed near the pitch from 16:00, offering expert analysis and insights.
Expert commentary and analysis on Canal+
A special edition of La Clinique des sports, hosted by Lyes Houhou, will air at 11:00. The show will feature sports medicine professionals and former PSG defender Alain Roche, dissecting the physical and mental preparation of the players. At kick-off, the match will be commentated by Paul Tchoukriel and Sidney Govou, with Margot Dumont and Dominique Armand providing pitch-side reports and interviews. Post-match, the Late Finale Club will take over, with Nicolas Tourriol joined by Samir Nasri, Aline Riera, Mickaël Landreau, and referee Tony Chapron for an in-depth analysis.
M6’s free-to-air coverage
M6, which holds the free-to-air rights to the final, will deploy a team of seasoned pundits and commentators. Presenters Ophélie Meunier and Smaïl Bouabdellah will anchor the coverage from pitch side, offering pre-match insights at 17:00 and post-match analysis. L’Équipe’s alternative coverage
While L’Équipe does not hold the rights to the final, the channel will still dedicate its entire afternoon and evening to the event. From 16:45 to 18:00, Grégory Ascher will host L’Équipe de Greg, followed by Olivier Ménard’s L’Équipe de la mi-temps from 18:45 to 19:00. The main evening show, L’Équipe du Soir, will air from 19:55 to 22:30, presented by Messaoud Benterki. The night will conclude with L’Équipe du Soir la prolong, running until 00:30. A roster of football legends and analysts, including Johan Micoud, Jérôme Alonzo, Ludovic Obraniak, Raymond Domenech, and Béatrice Kaboré, will contribute their expertise throughout the evening.
