To facilitate its implementation, a dedicated enrollment drive is scheduled to take place from July 6 to July 20, 2026. This registration process will be conducted at the administrative secretariats located in each of the various arrondissements. Drivers are required to present a valid form of identification to complete their registration, a crucial step for obtaining the official uniform.

Upon the conclusion of this designated period, only taxi-moto operators who have successfully registered and are correctly attired in the prescribed uniform will be authorized to provide passenger transport services. The municipal authorities have issued a clear warning that any driver failing to comply with this new obligation will face appropriate penalties as outlined by current legislation.

Furthermore, communal leaders are actively encouraging residents and commuters to support this reform by consciously choosing to ride with officially identified drivers.
