Laborex Tchad commemorates three decades of dedicated health service

Laborex Tchad, a key subsidiary of the CFAO Healthcare group, recently marked its thirtieth anniversary as a leading force in pharmaceutical distribution within Chad. This significant milestone was celebrated with a warm ceremony on Thursday, May 28, honoring the journey of an enterprise that has become indispensable to the nation’s supply of essential medicines and medical equipment.

Established in 1996, Laborex Tchad has consistently supported the national health system over the past three decades. The company ensures the provision of quality pharmaceutical products to pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and various health centers throughout the country, serving major cities like N’Djamena, Moundou, Sarh, Abéché, Bongor, and many other localities.

The celebratory event featured addresses from distinguished speakers, including Mme Ngarmbatina Sou IV, the chairperson of the board, and M. Sébastien Roux, the deputy zone director for the CFAO Healthcare group.

In her speech, Mme Ngarmbatina began by expressing profound gratitude to the Chadian authorities for their crucial support in the establishment and growth of Laborex Tchad. She then extended her appreciation to the financial partners, pharmacists, pharmaceutical depots, hospital facilities, and all clients who have placed their trust in the company’s services.

“You have chosen Laborex Tchad not merely out of habit, but based on unwavering trust. Our core mission is professionalism: ensuring the correct medication reaches the right place, at the opportune moment, for every patient across the national territory,” she emphasized.

Visibly moved, she added, “Thirty years is a remarkable achievement. We look forward to at least another seventy years ahead.”

M. Sébastien Roux, for his part, recounted his extensive 24-year career within the CFAO group, commending the profound human dimension embodied by Laborex Tchad. He paid tribute to previous leaders, specifically mentioning Mme Maria Mion Calvet, and applauded the current dynamic leadership under the general director, Mme Tignocqua.

“Laborex is a company with a rich history, yet it consistently retains its youthful vitality thanks to the collective efforts of its human resources,” he affirmed.

He also extended his appreciation to the Ministry of Public Health for its close collaboration, as well as to the partnering laboratories and banking institutions, and to all personnel for their unwavering daily dedication.

“It is through the combined efforts of each of you that we successfully ensure a reliable supply of pharmaceutical products across the entire country,” he stated.

The ceremony concluded on a high note, filled with a festive atmosphere and enlivened by the captivating rhythms of the balafon, a traditional instrument that left a memorable impression on all attendees.
