In a powerful display of community solidarity, young people from the Lac region, operating under the umbrella of the Coordination of Youth Associations of Lac (CADELAC), extended crucial support to the Forces of Defense and Security (FDS) on the afternoon of Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Baga-Sola. These dedicated forces remain at the forefront of the relentless campaign against Boko Haram.
Addressing local authorities, CADELAC coordinator Mahamat Adam Moustapha first conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families impacted by the recent tragic incidents in Barka Tollorom. He then lauded the profound sacrifices made by the FDS in their unwavering commitment to safeguarding peace and stability. Moustapha underscored the youth’s steadfast dedication to promoting citizen vigilance and fostering robust community mobilization efforts.
In a humble yet deeply meaningful gesture, CADELAC presented five 50 kg sacks of rice and ten cartons of pasta. This act, as articulated by the coordinator, serves as a testament to the resilience and determination of the region’s youth to actively support the security forces operating within the Lac province.
