Morocco seeks 26 billion dollars for atlantic gas pipeline project

The Moroccan government is accelerating efforts to secure the required funding for the Atlantic African Gas Pipeline (GAA), a strategic cross-border energy project developed in collaboration with Nigeria. Rabat has initiated high-level negotiations with the U.S. Export-Import Bank (US Exim Bank) and the World Bank to mobilize a total of $26 billion in financing, as revealed by the Moroccan Ambassador to the United States, Youssef Amrani.
