On June 2, 2026, the Kingdom of Morocco took center stage at the «Konsularischer Abend» in Düsseldorf, marking seven decades of Moroccan-German relations in front of 300 political and business leaders.

Addressing the audience, Consul General of Morocco in Düsseldorf, Ms. Boutaina Bouabid, and Secretary General of the Ministry of Moroccans Residing Abroad, Mr. Ismail Lamghari, highlighted the thriving strategic partnership between Rabat and Berlin. They also praised the cultural and economic bridge role played by the Moroccan community in Germany.

Backed by the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT), this high-level gathering showcased the Kingdom’s appeal and heritage through recent achievements, a caftan fashion show, and a captivating Gnawa performance.

This formal event underscored the shared commitment of both nations to deepen their diplomatic, economic, and cultural cooperation on a sustainable basis.
