Cameroon’s legal community champions democratic governance at Founders Museum launch in Yaoundé
The Cameroon Bar Association made a significant contribution to the launch of the Founders Museum in Yaoundé, an exhibition organized by the U.S. Embassy to commemorate the 250th anniversary of American independence. Led by key figures including Secretary General Me Serges Martin Zangue, Treasurer Me Adeline Fouegoum, and regional representative Me Philippe Memong, the delegation underscored the legal profession’s commitment to foundational democratic principles.
The event featured a high-level panel discussion on democracy, governance, and the rule of law, bringing together academics, historians, and institutional leaders. Speaking on behalf of the Cameroon Bar Association, Me Zangue emphasized the vital role lawyers play in safeguarding fundamental freedoms, advancing justice, and strengthening democratic institutions.
