Chad peace efforts urge honest dialogue among citizens

Emmanuel Nadingar, President of the Universal Peace Federation’s Chad chapter, held a press briefing on May 23 at the organization’s headquarters in Sabangali, located in N’Djaména’s 3rd arrondissement.

During the session, the former Prime Minister highlighted pressing global and domestic issues, emphasizing the need for peaceful resolutions amid escalating conflicts worldwide driven by resource competition.

Nadingar observed that communities worldwide are increasingly consolidating their positions when faced with violent disputes. In Chad, he noted significant developments in the national landscape, though he refrained from elaborating on specifics.

To address current challenges, he urged all Chadians to reject divisive behaviors such as communautarisme, isolationism, and acts of aggression. His core message centered on fostering unity through active listening and open, transparent dialogue among citizens.

« Only through collective solidarity can we gather the strength to overcome the obstacles before us, » he emphasized, stressing that genuine peace begins with honest communication and mutual understanding.

The Universal Peace Federation, founded in 2005, operates as a global NGO present in over 190 countries, advocating for peace and conflict resolution.
