Immersed in festive and warm atmosphere, the gala celebrated West African cultures with vibrant visuals.

On Saturday, June 20, 2026, the Marcel-Sembat hall resonated with the beats of West African traditional music and dance during the “African Vibrations” gala, hosted by Faso Lili association.

Before an audience of 170 spectators, this colorful evening showcased the richness of West African cultural heritage while supporting a meaningful solidarity project.

For years now, Faso Lili has been promoting West African dance and music through courses, workshops and performances. This annual gala gave members the chance to present their hard work alongside recognized professional artists.

The show blended live music with choreography, featuring nearly 70 performers on stage, accompanied by five professional musicians and two professional dancers. The audience enjoyed performances by Samba Diarra, singer-songwriter, Ali Diarra, member of Les Frères Diarra group, and choreographer and dancer Moussa Camara. The evening was further enriched by the presence of Malian professional dancer Mariam Doumbia, whose talent and energy captivated everyone.

Throughout the night, spectators were transported by infectious rhythms, dazzling costumes and a true celebration of West African culture. During intermission, guests enjoyed a convivial moment with refreshments served on-site.

Beyond its artistic dimension, the gala served a greater purpose. All proceeds from the evening will fund Faso Lili’s cultural center project in Burkina Faso, an initiative designed to promote cultural access, knowledge transmission and intercultural exchanges.

Thanks to the dedication of volunteers, artists, members and the public, the 2026 edition of “African Vibrations” proved once again that culture is a powerful vehicle for sharing, connection and solidarity.
