On August 6, 2026, a government delegation led by Colonel-major Assa Badiallo Touré, Minister of Health and Social Development, inspected the construction sites of the future hospitals in Bamako’s Districts III and VI. These facilities, part of the Presidential Emergency Project, are designed to bolster Mali’s healthcare infrastructure.

Despite challenging weather conditions, construction teams have accelerated their efforts, working around the clock to meet deadlines. Minister Touré praised the progress, emphasizing the urgency of delivering accessible, high-quality medical services to local communities.
