Moroccan attacking midfielder Bilal El Khannouss has officially made his move to VfB Stuttgart permanent. Following a highly successful loan period from Leicester City, the 22-year-old talent has committed to a long-term contract with the Bundesliga club.
During his inaugural season in the Bundesliga, the international star featured in 41 matches across all competitions, impressively netting nine goals and providing seven assists. These strong performances were instrumental in securing his selection for the Moroccan national squad ahead of the 2026 World Cup, where the Atlas Lions are set to kick off their campaign against Brazil on June 14.
El Khannouss honed his skills at Anderlecht before rising to prominence at Genk. He later represented Leicester City prior to his impactful transfer to Stuttgart. With a U23 continental title and an Olympic bronze medal already to his name, he stands out as one of African football’s most promising young talents.
