Two leading associations from Morocco and Spain have signed an ambitious academic partnership, with a strong focus on management sciences.
The agreement was concluded on Saturday in Santander, Spain, between the Moroccan Management Association (AMG), based in Rabat, and the Spanish Scientific Association of Economics and Business Management (ACEDE).
According to a statement from AMG, which is affiliated with Mohammed V University in Rabat, the memorandum of understanding establishes a cooperation framework aimed at “promoting scientific exchanges, developing collaborative research projects, joint participation in academic events, and bringing together researchers, faculty members, and doctoral students from both countries.”
Both associations are members of the International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management (IFSAM) and seek to enhance academic and scientific collaboration between the Spanish and Moroccan research communities in the field of management sciences.
The two partners also aim to strengthen the skills of doctoral students and early-career researchers while facilitating “their integration into international scientific networks.”
ACEDE is Spain’s foremost management and business administration academy. Founded in 1990, it brings together over 700 university professors and researchers. Its mission is to foster rigorous research and improve teaching in business administration sciences.
Through this partnership, AMG and ACEDE intend to give new momentum to scientific exchanges between Morocco and Spain, while offering young researchers from both countries greater access to international academic networks.
