During a working visit to N’Djamena, the Algerian Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, Abdelkader Djellaoui, was received by Allamaye Halina, Prime Minister and Head of Government of the Republic of Chad. The meeting highlighted the deepening ties between the two nations, with the Chadian premier expressing strong appreciation for the efforts of Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of Algeria.
Algeria’s leadership role and bilateral cooperation
Prime Minister Halina commended President Tebboune’s visionary leadership on the continent and his unwavering commitment to strengthening cooperation between Algeria and Chad. In a statement, he emphasized Algeria’s pivotal role in fostering African solidarity and development, noting that ‘the wisdom and dedication of President Tebboune have been instrumental in advancing shared prosperity and integration between our two brotherly nations.’
The Chadian leader also conveyed fraternal greetings from Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, President of the Republic of Chad, to President Tebboune. This gesture underscored the historic and unbreakable bonds of friendship and solidarity uniting the Algerian and Chadian peoples.
Strengthening partnerships and future collaboration
Prime Minister Halina further extended warm greetings to Algeria’s Prime Minister, Sifi Ghrieb, reaffirming Chad’s commitment to deepening bilateral relations. The Algerian delegation, which included key figures such as the Director-General of the Algerian Agency for International Cooperation for Solidarity and Development, Abed Hallouz, the Algerian Ambassador to Chad, and senior officials from the Ministry of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, concluded a two-day working visit marked by productive exchanges.
The visit culminated in a reinforced partnership agenda, setting the stage for enhanced collaboration between the two countries in infrastructure, development, and regional integration.
