wolfsburg’s hopes of staying in the bundesliga were shattered in dramatic fashion on monday evening as they fell to a 2-1 defeat against paderborn in the relegation playoff second leg. the northern german side now face an unprecedented relegation to the 2.bundesliga for the first time since the 1996-97 season.
