7MP party accelerates its national outreach alongside president oligui nguema in Gabon

Following an intensive twenty-day tour across Gabon’s nine provinces, Joël Ngoueneni Ndzengouma, the founding president of the Party for the 7 Wonders of the Gabonese People (7MP), has reported on a mission that extended beyond mere local engagement. This extensive journey, which involved restructuring local chapters, updating membership counts, and strengthening the Oligui Nguema 100% Movement (MON 100%), underscores 7MP’s commitment to solidifying its role within the presidential majority under the nascent Fifth Republic.

From June 4 to June 23, 2026, Joël Ngoueneni Ndzengouma traveled throughout the national territory, connecting with militants, supporters, local officials, and citizens. This comprehensive tour, detailed during a press conference held at the 7MP headquarters in Libreville, is a strategic move to revitalize the political party and reinforce its unwavering support for the President of the Republic, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema. Established in 2010, the 7MP now proudly aligns itself with the presidential movement. Concurrently, the Oligui Nguema 100% Movement (MON 100%), launched in February 2025, is dedicated to backing the Head of State’s reform agenda and rallying public support for his initiatives.

A tour focused on political restructuring

Beyond direct interactions with communities, a primary objective of this mission was to reorganize the party’s structures nationwide. According to 7MP officials, the efforts successfully led to a re-evaluation of active members, welcomed new adherents, identified emerging local leaders, and bolstered provincial coordination efforts. The Oligui Nguema 100% Movement also leveraged this tour to further its establishment across all nine provinces, with the overarching goal of uniting more citizens around the vision championed by the President of the Republic.

For Joël Ngoueneni Ndzengouma, this tour is particularly timely, coinciding with the foundational establishment of the Fifth Republic’s institutions. Discussions with party members served to reiterate 7MP’s steadfast commitment as a political force standing firmly with the Head of State, while also reaffirming its endorsement of the reforms initiated since the Transition period. This proactive approach is integral to the broader transformation of Gabon’s political landscape, where numerous parties are striving to deepen their territorial roots following the recent presidential, legislative, and local elections.

Future initiatives focused on grassroots engagement

Upon the conclusion of this mission, the 7MP has outlined several forthcoming actions aimed at sustaining its growth: enhancing provincial coordination, increasing citizen engagement through frequent meetings, further structuring the MON 100% movement, and implementing a continuous mechanism for collecting public concerns.

Beyond its organizational achievements, this extensive tour represents a crucial phase in the 7MP’s strategy to cement its position within the presidential majority and actively support the political direction of the Fifth Republic, all while strengthening its connection with communities throughout the entire national territory.
