Bénin CEP 2026 results expected this friday
After several weeks of anticipation, candidates who sat for the 2026 Primary School Certificate (CEP) examination will finally learn their fate this Friday. The deliberation is scheduled for 10:30 am, covering the 286,995 students who wrote the exams across the country.
The exams took place from June 1 to 4, with 149,424 boys and 138,571 girls participating in 860 test centres. This year’s session saw the official launch at the Gbofoly public primary school in the commune of Aplahoué. Additionally, 97 candidates with special needs, including 36 girls, took the exam across 13 dedicated centres.
Ministry of Maternal and Primary Education statistics indicate a 5.56% increase in candidate numbers compared to the previous session. With the deliberation set for Friday, thousands of candidates and their families are holding their breath, awaiting results that will mark the end of primary education and the gateway to secondary school.
