Ivorian minister outlines key goals of national development policy

Abidjan, 15 July 2026 – On Monday, 20 July 2026 at 10:00 AM, Souleymane Diarrassouba, Côte d’Ivoire’s Minister of Planning and Development, will take center stage at the Government Appointments, a flagship platform organized by the Government Information and Communication Center (CICG).


This press briefing, hosted in the auditorium of the Prime Minister’s office in Abidjan-Plateau, will welcome both national and international media representatives. The event will be broadcast live across the Government’s digital platforms, including Facebook, X, TikTok, and YouTube.


During this session, Minister Diarrassouba will unveil the core challenges, obstacles, and future prospects of the National Development Policy (PND). He will detail the key strategic directions of the PND, emphasizing the Government’s top priorities in transforming the economic landscape, accelerating industrialization, enhancing human capital, upgrading infrastructure, strengthening governance, and fostering balanced regional growth.


The Government Appointments serve as a dynamic forum for dialogue between Government officials, journalists, professional associations, and civil society representatives. This initiative, launched by the CICG, aims to bridge the gap between public policies and citizens by providing transparent insights into national priorities.
