During a live Space conversation on Saturday hosted by journalist Stanis Bujakera Tshiamala, national deputy Michel Moto Muhima did not hold back his admiration for the head of state, connecting his backing of constitutional reform to the imperative of enabling Félix Antoine Tshisekedi to accomplish even more.
“Félix Antoine Tshisekedi is the best head of state our nation has experienced since independence, and I am ready to demonstrate it. In just six or seven years, the president’s achievements surpass all that came before. Every sector is covered: economy, politics, security, social affairs, diplomacy, infrastructure. In seven years, what has unfolded in this country did not occur in the previous eighteen years, nor in the thirty-two years before that. We must give credit to the man for his epoch,” he declared.
The deputy continued: “President Félix Tshisekedi has revitalised our economy. Local entrepreneurship has taken off. Certainly, much remains to be done, and we must back him and encourage him to go further. He can achieve more with an improved constitution. That is why we say: let us move forward. Let us present this to the sovereign people, let them decide with a yes or no, and we will accept the outcome.”
