In Rabat on Thursday, Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita received Sering Modou Njie, Gambia’s minister of foreign affairs and special envoy of President Adama Barrow. The Gambian diplomat carried a written message addressed to King Mohammed VI.
After the meeting, Njie praised the excellence of relations between Morocco and Gambia. He highlighted ties marked by friendship, brotherhood, and cooperation between Rabat and Banjul.
The Gambian foreign minister also underscored the quality of the bilateral partnership. He noted that the relationship is founded on shared interests and a mutual commitment to further strengthen this dynamic.
Njie further reaffirmed his country’s resolve to deepen bilateral cooperation in several areas of common interest.
