Rabat and Amman formalized an extradition agreement on Friday, August 28, 2026, aiming to significantly enhance their judicial cooperation and solidify the existing legal and institutional frameworks between the two nations.

The accord was officially signed by Morocco’s Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Ouahbi, and his Jordanian counterpart, Bassam Samir Al-Talhouni. This signing followed comprehensive discussions focused on advancing judicial collaboration between Morocco and Jordan.
