Morocco’s forward-thinking approach to migration management—rooted in solidarity, mutual responsibility, and respect for human dignity—was showcased on Thursday in Huelva, Spain, by Younes Sekkouri, the country’s Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment, and Skills.
Speaking at the forum titled “Migration Governance and Circular Migration Between Morocco and Spain: Keys to a Beneficial Cooperation,” Sekkouri emphasised that this human-centred migration policy has been implemented following the high directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. He added that this royal vision places human capital at the centre of public policies and sees mobility as a driver of economic growth, skills transfer, and closer ties between peoples.
