As the 2026 World Cup unfolds, Paris Saint-Germain is turning its attention to summer recruitment. The Ligue 1 champions have already activated several leads, including one for RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomandé. The Ivorian international impressed during Côte d’Ivoire’s tournament opener, potentially reinvigorating his transfer this summer.

After clinching the Champions League for a second straight season, PSG is now focusing on its summer transfer business. The club’s objective is clear: refresh Luis Enrique’s squad ahead of the next campaign. Many names have been floated in recent weeks, including that of Yan Diomandé. The 19-year-old RB Leipzig winger was at his best during Côte d’Ivoire’s first match of the 2026 World Cup, and that could reignite the young star’s future.
“More clubs could enter the race”
“Liverpool is still looking to add another winger. Will it be Diomandé? What’s certain is that he’s on Liverpool’s list. He’s also on PSG’s list. You know how the World Cup works. He is performing quite well at the tournament, which means that more clubs could join the race,” noted transfer market insider Fabrizio Romano on his channel.
RB Leipzig sets its price for Yan Diomandé
Anyone hoping to convince RB Leipzig will need to dig deep. The Bundesliga side is keen to keep Yan Diomandé this summer and has therefore set a price tag of around €100M for his transfer. PSG and the Ivorian international’s other suitors have been warned. The question now is whether the Parisian club will be willing to spend that amount to secure him this summer. Since taking charge, Luis Campos and Luis Enrique have generally been reluctant to pay such high fees. The situation will be closely monitored.
