Gabon to manufacture military uniforms locally with new industrial facility

The National Assembly’s Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, National Defense, and Regional Integration Committee recently reviewed a groundbreaking draft law proposing the establishment of a facility dedicated to producing uniforms for the Gabonese defense and security forces. Championed by the Minister of State for National Defense, Brigitte Onkanowa, this initiative aims to shift from a reliance on imported military attire to domestically manufactured gear, reinforcing the country’s logistical independence.
