N’Djamena witnessed a significant milestone on Monday as Chad and Algeria officially broke ground on a new 40-megawatt power plant. This vital infrastructure project, entirely financed by Algiers and executed by Sonelgaz International, is set to substantially enhance Chad’s energy capacity. It also underscores a deepening economic and energy partnership between the two nations, following the recent inauguration of a similar facility in Niger.
