Abidjan, July 9, 2026 – The second day of the National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030 Consultative Group, focused on investors, kicked off today at the Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire in Abidjan under the leadership of Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé.
« Today marks another milestone in this consultative gathering centered on investment, entrepreneurship, and value creation. The goal is clear: mobilize private investments essential for realizing our development ambitions. I’m pleased to share that over 700 investors from friendly nations have joined this initiative, » Prime Minister Mambé stated.
The event drew top business leaders, investors, and private sector representatives who traveled to Abidjan in strong numbers. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of this forum as a key platform for dialogue with private stakeholders and to align on a shared vision for economic progress.
« Friends, your commitment alongside us reflects the trust you place in Côte d’Ivoire’s economic outlook and growth potential. You are pivotal partners in turning our vision into reality—a vision of a more competitive economy that generates jobs. The success of this ambition hinges on your ability to invest, » he added.
He underscored the government’s commitment to positioning the private sector as the driving force behind Côte d’Ivoire’s economic transformation. He reassured investors that the country’s economy has proven its resilience and adaptability in recent years, navigating global shifts with an average growth rate of 6.5% and standing out as one of Africa’s most dynamic economies.
« Investors, you now have access to a rapidly expanding market. Today’s proceedings will fast-track investments in priority sectors outlined in the PND 2026-2030—particularly industrialization and local processing of raw materials to boost value addition, strategic infrastructure development in transport, digital technology, and logistics to enhance competitiveness, and investments in human capital, innovation, and essential services to foster a more productive and inclusive economy, » he affirmed.
Prime Minister Mambé also highlighted that the first day of the event, dedicated to institutional partners and the presentation of Côte d’Ivoire’s development strategy, attracted over 3,000 participants from 49 countries, including Côte d’Ivoire.
