The African Union Commissioner responsible for economic development, tourism, trade, industry, and mining, Francisca Tatchouop Belobe, commended Morocco’s remarkable progress during a recent visit to Rabat.
The high-level meeting, held alongside discussions with Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Abroad Nasser Bourita, highlighted the Kingdom’s leadership in industrial innovation across Africa. Notably, Morocco has emerged as a frontrunner in automotive and aerospace industries, setting benchmarks for the continent.

Ms. Tatchouop Belobe underscored Morocco’s commitment to fostering inclusive growth by leveraging its expertise in critical minerals. The Kingdom’s proactive approach in developing a robust value chain for these resources was recognized as a model for other African nations seeking sustainable economic pathways.
Expressing deep gratitude, she acknowledged the unwavering support of His Majesty King Mohammed VI for the African Union’s initiatives, reinforcing Morocco’s pivotal role in continental progress.
