Chad’s Head of State, Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, touched down in N’Djamena late Wednesday evening after wrapping up a formal visit to the United Arab Emirates.

During his stay in Abu Dhabi, the Chadian leader engaged in two high-level meetings with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan—one at the Presidential Palace and another at his own temporary residence.

Upon his return, Marshal Déby was greeted at N’Djamena International Airport by Prime Minister Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, key cabinet ministers, the Presidential Secretary-General, the Special Chief of Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Special Advisor, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
