Tchad president concludes UAE visit upon return to N’Djamena

President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno of Chad has returned to N’Djamena following an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.

Diplomatic meetings in Abu Dhabi

The Chadian head of state engaged in two high-level discussions with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan during his stay in Abu Dhabi. The first exchange took place at the Presidential Palace, while the second meeting was hosted at the Chadian leader’s residence.

These encounters are expected to strengthen bilateral relations and explore new avenues for economic and security cooperation between the two nations.

A grand welcome in N’Djamena

Upon his arrival at N’Djamena International Airport, President Déby Itno was greeted by a delegation led by Prime Minister Allah-Maye Halina. The welcoming committee also included the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, several government officials, the State Minister and Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Special Chief of Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Special Secretary, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
