On the occasion of the 66th anniversary of Côte d’Ivoire’s independence, former parliamentarian Méambly Tié Évariste delivered a heartfelt message to his fellow citizens, particularly those from the Cavally, Guémon, and Tonkpi regions. In his address, he reflected on his decades of public service while announcing a new personal and professional direction.
From political service to academic excellence
For ten years, Méambly Tié Évariste served as a Member of Parliament for his constituency. Later, he took on the role of first regional council president for Guémon, followed by leading the parliamentary group Agir pour le Peuple. His political career spanned more than a decade, earning him deep respect and trust from his constituents.
However, his ambition extended beyond the halls of power. In recent years, he pursued advanced academic studies in management and public policy. His academic journey led him through Tunisia, where he earned a Master’s degree in organizational management, and France, where he completed another Master’s degree at Sciences Po Paris in public policy, with a focus on African potential. Currently, he is finalizing a PhD in management sciences, scheduled for defense in October 2026.
New horizons in entrepreneurship and development
With his academic goals within reach, Méambly Tié Évariste has decided to shift his focus toward entrepreneurship and investment. He has already established a strong presence in economic activities outside Côte d’Ivoire since 2012 and has lived in France since 2020, where he continues to expand his business networks and international partnerships.
In his message, he emphasized his intention to dedicate his energy to creating jobs, funding key development projects, and fostering international collaborations that benefit Africa. He also announced the upcoming release of a new book in October 2026, focusing on entrepreneurship, real estate, and economic growth.
His decision to step away from active politics reflects a deliberate choice to embrace new challenges in the private sector and knowledge-sharing, while continuing to support national causes such as education, innovation, and youth empowerment.

Méambly Tié Évariste expressed deep gratitude to the people of Cavally, Guémon, and Tonkpi for their unwavering support throughout his political and academic journey. He called on Ivorian communities to uphold unity, hard work, solidarity, and brotherhood as pillars of national progress.
