The Moroccan Ambassador to Niger joined the country’s Foreign Minister to launch a special ceremony commemorating the 27th anniversary of the Throne Day, marking a milestone in the Kingdom’s achievements under King Mohammed VI’s reign.
A high-level event unfolded in Niamey, highlighting Morocco’s transformation across key sectors. Infrastructure upgrades, industrial growth, enhanced geopolitical positioning, and expanded social protection systems were among the achievements highlighted during the celebration.
«Morocco has undergone profound changes in its infrastructure, industrial fabric, geopolitical standing, and social protection mechanisms. Sectors such as automotive, aeronautics, agro-industry, pharmaceuticals, and renewable energies have reshaped the nation’s productive landscape», stated Mohammed Iboumraten, Morocco’s Ambassador to Niamey.
The ceremony also underscored the deep-rooted friendship and cooperation between Morocco and Niger. Over the years, both nations have cultivated strong partnerships across multiple domains, reinforcing their bilateral relations.
«The Morocco-Niger relationship is built on historical depth, solidarity, and a shared commitment to strengthening ties in political, economic, security, cultural, and spiritual spheres. His Majesty’s dedication to Niger is evident through two royal visits and a consistent drive to foster a balanced and mutually beneficial partnership», added the Ambassador.
